About this live event

Understanding polyvagal theory is one thing—applying it in session is another. This practical training will teach you five simple, effective polyvagal-informed skills you can begin using right away with your clients. Whether you're working with trauma, anxiety, or dysregulation, these tools support nervous system safety, connection, and co-regulation in real time. You’ll leave with clear guidance, somatic-based interventions, and the confidence to integrate these techniques into your work immediately—no vagus nerve diagrams required.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify and explain five polyvagal-informed skills that can be applied in-session to support client regulation and connection.
  • Demonstrate how to integrate at least two of the five polyvagal skills into a clinical session to address signs of nervous system dysregulation.

  • Gabrielle Juliano-Villani, LCSW

    Gabrielle Juliano-Villani is a licensed clinical social worker, consultant, coach, entrepreneur and educator based in Sarasota, Fl. She has been in the mental health field for over a decade specializing in stress, chronic health conditions, and trauma. After scaling her group practice to 7 figures and realizing her own burnout in 2021, she sold her thriving group practice and made it her mission to educate others on the impact stress has on our everyday lives. Gabrielle pulls from her experience as an EMDR and Polyvagal Informed therapist to utilize mind/body approaches to help others implement everyday strategies to manage stress and live their best lives. Gabrielle is an international speaker, retreat leader, and has been featured in Authority Magazine, The Daily Om, Bustle, and the Everyday Woman TV Network. When she's not working, Gabrielle is teaching Zumba, surfing, or reading a psychological thriller at the beach

CE Process Info

Each professional is responsible for the individual requirements as stipulated by his/her licensing agency. Please contact your individual licensing board/regulatory agency to review continuing education requirements for licensure renewal. Please note: You must attend "live" (in real-time) for the duration of the training to earn CE credits.

CE Credit Questions

ASWB ACE credit is approved for the United States and Canada.*

Canadian Social Workers: Canadian provinces accept courses approved by the ASWB for ongoing professional development.

The California Board of Behavioral Sciences will accept courses approved by ASWB and NBCC, please see website:

*New Jersey regulations state the following regarding acceptable sources of continuing education for Social Workers: "Attendance at programs or courses approved by boards that license social work practice in other states: one credit for each hour of attendance." Many State Boards accept ASWB ACE credit for Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Addiction Professionals. It is the participant's responsibility to check with their individual state board to verify continuing education requirements for their state.
