• Differentiate between stress, worry, anxiety, and trauma in clinical assessment.
• Identify the Cognitive Model of anxiety and describe how it informs intervention planning and treatment delivery.
• Explain the diagnostic criteria for Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Adjustment Disorder using the DSM-5-TR, including common differential diagnoses such as trauma-related disorders.
• Apply three evidence-based clinical interventions that support nervous system downregulation in clients with anxiety disorders.
