Brainspotting and Inner BlindSpot Work
The Brainspotting and Inner BlindSpot Work training focuses upon the psychological and emotional blind spots that each of us have in our functioning and interactions in life. The blind spot assessments, prep work, and didactic presentation materials, assist each participant in recognizing personal and client BlindSpots. Once there is comprehension of the unconscious BlindSpots, the application of the unique Inner BlindSpot Work ways of setting up and receiving the client’s frame, enables processing of the BlindSpots and facilitates the development of subcortical clarity and wisdom.

Learning Objectives
- 1. Implement the pre-training inventory and blind spot assessments with clients, as well as on personal blind spots.
- 2. Conceptualize awareness and the unconscious shadow
- 3. Describe what blind spots are and how they may impact a person’s full range of interacting, functioning, and excelling in life.
- 4. Differentiate types of blind spots and how to identify them.
- 5. Illustrate blind spots through metaphors
- 6. Navigate attunement to the individual client with flexible Inner BlindSpot Work guidelines for processing.
- 7. Demonstrate basic Brainspotting and Inner BlindSpot Work set ups for processing blind spots.
- 8. Integrate knowledge gained from observing an Inner BlindSpot Work demonstration and two Inner BlindSpot Work practica experiences, one as a client and one as a therapist.

- Intermediate. Pre-Requisite: Completion of Phase 1 Brainspotting training is required. Phase 2 is recommended.
