- identify stress and trauma responses and when an individual is in a trauma body.
- recognize the three different branches of the autonomic nervous system, their functions and how they interact with each other
- explain how somatic interoceptive awareness and pendulation facilitates self agency towards healing and the concept of inner healing intelligence.
- recognize the importance of tracking an individual’s somatic orientation, somatic narrative, self-regulation, auto-regulation and co-regulation.
- determine when they or another may be in a ‘faux’ window of tolerance by asking the two questions about their somatic experience.
